In celebration of the 15th anniversary of Release Me, the highly sought-after album has been repressed on colorful vinyl, with the addition of the bonus track "Why When The Love Is Gone."

Release Me was the follow-up to the band's 2005 debut album, Are You Thinking What I'm Thinking? There was shift in the band's sound, akin to a 60s girl group, further showcasing the talents of Z Berg (JJAMZ, Phases, Strange Darling Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) and Tennessee Thomas (Nice As Fuck). Berg and Thomas were joined by Alex Greenwald (Phantom Planet, JJAMZ, Phases) and Victor Axelrod (Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Antibalas, Ticklah) in the studio, and shortly after, Annie Monroe and Laena Geronimo joined the band.

Release Me was produced by 9-Time Grammy Award Winner Mark Ronson (Amy Winehouse, Bruno Mars, Dua Lipa, Barbie) with additional production by Thomas Brenneck and Homer Steinweiss (Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Menahan Street Band) and Alex Greenwald.
