Catch the Nite
[[Release Detail]][[Release Description]]
The sixth studio album, released on February 10, 1988. The original LP, part number K28A-850, was produced by Toshiki Kadomatsu and contains a total of 10 songs, including the album version of âCATCH ME,â which reached No. 1 on the singles chart. Toshiki Kadomatsu composed 7 of the 10 songs and wrote the lyrics for 6 of them, including âSHERRYâ (lyrics and music by Toshiki Kadomatsu), a coupling song for âYou're My Only Shinin' Starâ (not included on this album), which was released as a single a week after the album was released.
The album is a powerful expression of the sound of Kadomatsu in his heyday as a musician, and Miho Nakayama's singing beautifully expresses the fragrance of a beautifully shining urban night and its sense of speed. The first song on SIDE-B, âCATCH ME,â is set in a long-established ryotei restaurant in Mukojima, Tokyo, and features Miho Nakayama in a dual role as the main character in the Fuji Television drama âOhimana nara kuru yo,â in which she played the role of a woman and a man. The song was the theme song for the Fuji Television drama "Ohimara nara kuru yo ne!" It was released in October 1987 and reached No. 1 on the singles chart. The album version is included in this album.
