angel hearts
[[Release Detail]][[Release Description]]
Their eighth original album was released on December 5, 1988, ten months after their first album âCATCH THE NITEâ and only five months after their last album âMind Gameâ. In 1988 alone, the band released four albums at a high pace: three original albums and the remix album âMakinâ Dancinââ. The original LP part number is K28A-880. The album version of âWitchesâ the 14th single released the previous month in November and which reached #1 on the charts, is included on the album. The album contains a total of nine songs, and deepens the collaboration with CINDY, who provided the music for the previous album. Including âSweetest Loverâ which opens the album, five songs are composed by CINDY, and one song is co-written by CINDY with lyrics by CINDY and music by Yuji Toriyama and CINDY.
âSweetest Loverâ was written by Miho Nakayama herself under the name Mizuho Kitayama, and was used as the theme song for her radio program âP.S. I LOVE YOUâ. In addition, Chinfa Kang contributed six lyrics and Masami Tozawa one song, and the production team included Yuji Toriyama, Kunio Muramatsu, Hiroshi Narumi, and Ichiro Haneda. If the previous album âMind Gameâ was a summer-themed album, songs such as âBad Girlâ and âTry Or Cryâ express a more urban, more mature, and stylish worldview that seasonally evokes late fall and winter.
